The Hangout Room
Our entertainment floor (Hangout Room) as we call it is great. Besides the second kitchen it contains several entertainment areas and many technologies.
A great home theater and media room. The huge HD screen and world class 7 channel sound systems give you that theater feel without leaving the home. The raised reclining seats add to the comfort. It is possible to sit 6 people on the recliners, 3 people on the mezzanine granite counter top just behind the second row of seats, and several kids on the floor in beanbags. The media system includes much more than TV and videos.
Connected to the huge screen there is a WiiU system, an Xbox1 system, a CD changer, a Blu-ray, player, a PS4 gaming console, a docking station for your favorite devices, Bluetooth so that you can connect your devices to the big screen, and more. Free to use, are movies on demand, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and a large collection of DVDs, some of them classics. The special lighting and theater carpeting and many other special touches make our media room special.
There are also several other entertainement areas in the Hangout Room.
The Gaming Room includes a full size regulation 9 foot pool table, electronic basketball wall game, darts, HD TV, and even a slot machine. Top of the line cues and special lighting round out this room, which can convert to be used in several ways.
Using the custom made mahogany conversion table top, the room can convert into a banquet room capable of seating twelve around the huge table. There are lots of nice touches such as the gorgeous Tiffany lamp. Because the table is so wide, the feast can be placed on the center of the table without infringing on the dinners space. There are other ways to convert the table so that it can accommodate all kinds of entertainment and games.
The Hangout Room is very large, this area can be used as a dance floor and the stereo system from the adjacent media room provides the music. Or we can use the many musical instruments available. The couch actually opens to a very comfortable queen size bed and it has the extra thick mattress. Kids love to sleep in the Hangout Room because they can play until they are tired and then just fall asleep.
There are many other features to the Hangout Room such as the bar, the wine fridge, the full kitchen, and even an office space.
There is also a full size bathroom, with marble flooring and a glass shower. The Hangout Room can also be entered from the outside through its own private entrance.
