The Property

Our beautiful country home is very welcoming and relaxed. It's a home. In fact Welcome Home is the very first thing it says to you as you arrive after traversing our 1/4 mile private road. Along the way there are gardens, and other points of interest.

There are many special places throughout our wonderful property. We even have our own private picnic area complete with recovered redwood tables and benches. Very private and shady, an excellent place for an outdoor feast or to just take a nap on the hammock.

The very large custom outdoor stone and brick BBQ in the picnic area looks like something out of a Mayan temple. It was custom made for us on the property, even the stainless steel and grills were designed for us. People pay good money to visit local parks so they can have a great outdoor picnic… We don't even have to leave home for that.

We have a wonderful playground right off the front porch. It has a fort, two slides, several swings, a sandbox and a play house. Kids (and some grownups) love it. The property is huge, the front yard can be used to play ball, Frisbee or just sit on the front porch and watch the nature show of wonderful birds and other wildlife.

The front porch is always inviting, even at night. I fact the front, sides and back yards are all custom lit at night, making the outdoors just as inviting at night as it is in the day. Both the front and rear porches feature special lighting; even the post caps and steps are lit. The surfaces of the porches is made of Trex material so it is always perfect. At night the light show in the gardens and the pool and porch areas are amazing.

The front porch is very large with plenty of seating to entertain. The wonderful Pergola provides shade during the day and wonderful mood lighting at night. A great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a nightcap late at night.

There are little touches everywhere to make the place absolutely enchanting. Notice for example the flowers surrounding the front porch and the antique milk bottles painted in forest green. You might walk by all these things without consciously noticing them, but your inner soul and your heart will.

The property is very large; The driveway (private road) alone is one quarter of a mile long. And we are sounded by a preserve and other large properties. So there is complete privacy. It is a great place to walk or jog without even leaving home.

We have many wild friends who visit often. It is not at all unusual to see 20 or 30 turkeys in the front yard, or turtles, birds of all kinds and sizes, and much more. Maybe even Bambi will come to visit as he does often.

There are many whimsical and interesting points of interest throughout the property. Always something of beauty to admire.

There are gardens and trails and planters, hidden spots, sitting areas, wonderful flowers everywhere, fruits also, a wonderful poolside gazebo, and so much to see and enjoy. A feast for the senses.

The property is just as beautiful in the winter as it is in any other season.

Thunder Ridge ski area is just 8.4 miles away and there are other winter sports and activities all around us.
